Take Me Home Pet Transport Terms & Conditions

 

1.) Any price or quotation provided by Take Me Home Pet Transport is based on information provided by the owner of the animal as to the animal’s size and the location of pick-up and delivery. Take Me Home Pet Transport reserves the right to change the price in the event that the information for which the price was quoted was incorrect or has changed.

2.) Any price provided by Take Me Home Pet Transport is for transport purposes and care of the animal only and does not include Insurance or Veterinary care for animals during travel.

2a.) You understand that no animals are covered by Insurance for loss or injury during travel and it is the customers responsibility to get insurance cover before travel or accept responsibility for any loss or injury.

3.) Payment is required via bank deposit within 24 hours once the booking is confirmed.

4.) Take Me Home Pet Transport conducts itself with due diligence, utmost care, and attention to our customer’s pets, they are handled under the understanding that Take Me Home Pet Transport is not responsible for any loss, death, illness, injury or accident.

5.) Where any animal is collected from or delivered to another animal transport company or another third party at the request of the owner Take Me Home Pet Transport accepts no liability for any loss, death, illness, injury or accident due to any cause whilst the animal is in the care of that other party.

6.) Take Me Home Pet Transport is authorised to seek veterinary care, should this be required whilst animals are in our care. Any vet charges incurred are the owner’s responsibility and will be on charged to the animal’s owner.

7.) It is a policy of Take Me Home Pet Transport that all Cats and Dogs (including Puppies and Kittens) to be vaccinated prior to traveling. Take Me Home Pet Transport will require a copy of current vaccination certificates before traveling.

8.) We reserve the right not to handle aggressive, reactive and fearful animals.

9.) Whilst we do go to great lengths to ensure we can maintain an appropriate timetable it is inevitable that at times we will be required to make alterations to our timetable due to the volume of bookings, traffic and weather conditions, mechanical breakdowns or any other reason beyond our control.

10.) All customers accept that if you require transport for a Brachycephalic / Snub Nose Breeds, you accept that transport is arranged at the owners risk and may require a veterinary clearance. Please see Our Special Terms and Conditions also.

10b.) For transporting pregnant animals you agree that a veterinary certificate is to be provided stating that the animal is fit for travel or you must accept the risk yourself.

10c.) If your animal is elderly, sick or injured pets you must provide a veterinary certificate stating it is fit to travel.

11.)  If you cancel your booking 3 days or more before departure you are entitled to a full refund.

If you cancel your booking less than 3 days prior to departure your booking will not be refunded.
