We aim to move your pets as stress free as possible.
Each transport is planned to the finest detail to ensure your pet travels in comfort and safety.

Our Transport Vehicle
Our Transport Van is Air Conditioned, insulated and ventilated, tinted windows to ensure the most comfortable ride for your pets.
Our crates are roomy, solid and secured to the van so there is no movement and your pets are locked in keeping them safe and sound
No crate stacking to ensure good air flow around the crates.
No more than 3 adult dogs in the van at any time, this helps to minimise stress on the dogs and less time in transport.
We use Vet Bedding in all of the cages to keep your pets dry from any accidents. Bedding is changed after each pet and washed using Veterinary Grade Disinfectant.

At Take Me Home Pet Transport, we pride ourselves in providing your pet a first class experience while travelling with us.
This includes, but is not limited too;
*** Take Me Home offers pet transport to all areas within NSW, and some areas of QLD and VIC.
***We are equipped to transport birds, pocket pets, cats, dogs small farm animals and some small reptiles.
*** We take the health and safety of our drivers and your pet seriously and take frequent rest breaks and do health checks of animals every 2 hours during our journey.
*** We are big on communication and will keep you updated regularly with phone calls or sms with photos, videos and updated ETAs during our trip.
*** We offer live time tracking through the Life360 app so you can see exactly where we are always during our trip.
***All crates, food and water bowls are cleaned after each use using a veterinary grade disinfectant, F10.
***Take Me Home is a door-to-door Pet Transport service.
***Transporting your pets in a fully air conditioned, insulated and ventilated, regularly serviced van with extra window tinting to ensure they travel in comfort.
*** We have 6 very roomy cages that are securely fixed to avoid movement whilst travelling.
*** When accommodation is needed on long trips I always stay in Pet Friendly accommodation where pets are allowed in the room with me. NO animal is ever left in the van unattended
Our Brachycephalic Policy
Some breeds of pedigree dogs & cats with very short muzzles (termed brachycephalic) can have difficulty breathing due to a disorder known as Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS). These animals are at a greater risk of suffering from stress related conditions and requiring veterinary attention, or passing away, during transport both by Air and Road.
It is important to note that while heat plays a huge role in this condition it is not the cause. Any kind of stress or over excitement may cause issues in an affected animal. As Brachycephalic animals cannot regulate their body temperature as efficiently as other animals and much less efficiently than us, any sudden change in temperature can cause an issue. For instance moving a pet to or from an Air Conditioned environment.
At Take Me Home Pet transport, we are aware that this condition is the No. 1 cause of veterinary intervention or fatalities during transport.
While Take Me Home Pet Transport makes every effort to inform clients of the risks, we can only carry Brachycephalic breeds at the owners risk and under the understanding that the owner, sender and receiver are aware of and agree to the Terms & Conditions specifically related to these breeds in addition to our normal Terms & Conditions.

Take Me Home Pet Transport assisted me in bringing the pet cat of a deceased friend from the Central Coast when I couldn't get out of work. Sue-Anne kept me informed all the way with SMS updates. Very caring, 100% recommend this service.
